Our Role as Agent
Except where otherwise stated, ROAM Travel Ltd acts as an agent or sub-agent in respect of all bookings we make on your behalf.
When making a booking through us, you will enter into a contract with the relevant supplier(s). Their Terms & Conditions will apply, and we recommend that you read these carefully.
Where multiple suppliers are involved, separate contracts will exist between you and each provider.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law. If you reside in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may choose the applicable jurisdiction.
1. Booking & Payment
When making a booking, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of your party.
To confirm your booking, a deposit or full payment (as required by the supplier) must be paid. Any insurance premiums and booking fees must also be settled at this time.
Your contract with the supplier(s) begins once confirmation has been issued.
Please check all details carefully. Names must match passports exactly.
If a balance is due, it must be paid by the specified date. Late payment may result in cancellation and a £30 late fee may apply.
2. Pricing
All prices are subject to availability and may change prior to confirmation. While we aim for accuracy, errors can occur and will be corrected before booking is finalised.
3. Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.
This should cover cancellation, medical expenses, repatriation and personal belongings.
4. Special Requests
We are happy to pass on any special requests to suppliers, but cannot guarantee they will be fulfilled.
5. Changes & Cancellations by you
All amendments or cancellations must be made in writing by the lead name.
Charges will apply in line with supplier Terms & Conditions and may be up to 100% of the booking cost.
By the Supplier
If changes or cancellations are made by the supplier, we will inform you promptly and assist where possible.
6. Our Responsibility
We are responsible for making your booking in accordance with your instructions.
Responsibility for the provision of travel services rests with the supplier(s).
7. Financial Protection
We are a member of Protected Trust Services (PTS)
Your payments are held in a secure, ring-fenced trust account.
Where applicable, you will receive an ATOL Certificate confirming your protection.
8. Passport, Visa & Health
It is your responsibility to ensure all documentation and requirements are met before travel.
9. Accommodation & Information
All descriptions and ratings are provided by suppliers and are intended as a guide only.
10. Complaints
Any issues during travel must be reported directly to the supplier.
If you wish to raise a complaint after your return, please contact us in writing.
11. Travel Documents
Please ensure all documents are valid and correct prior to departure.
12. Delivery of Documents
Documents will be sent electronically or by post. We are not responsible for loss once issued, unless due to our negligence.
